UV LED Ink Compatible with Roland Eco UV 5 (EUV5) – 1L Bottle
The UV LED ink compatible with Roland ECO-UV5 (EUV5) is a UV-curable ink that replaces the original Roland DG ink in VersaUV LEC2, TrueVIS MG / LG, VersaOBJECT CO / MO and VersaSTUDIO BD-8 printers and printer-cutters.
Jetted by the piezoelectric heads, the ink is set as soon as it passes under the machine's low-temperature UV-LED lamp: the print comes out dry and goes straight to cutting or finishing. This immediate curing guarantees that production resumes with no drying time.
Supplied in a 1 L refill bottle, it is used to refill the cartridges and refillable pouches of the ECO-UV5 ink system. This format suits high-volume workshops.

- Shake the bottle before each refill. This is essential for white, whose pigment settles.
- Store with the cap closed, away from light and heat. Never mix with another generation of ink.
Function
- Supply the print heads of the ECO-UV5 system in place of the original ink
- Reproduce solid areas and gradients in CMYK four-colour process
- Extend the gamut with Orange and Red, for more saturated reds and oranges, particularly on brand colours
- Print a white underlayer on transparent or coloured media, and selective varnish
- Improve adhesion on difficult media thanks to the Primer
- Refill existing cartridges and pouches instead of replacing them
Possible symptoms of wear
- Missing nozzles and clogged nozzles when the ink is expired or has been exposed to light
- Incomplete curing: sticky surface, ink that marks to the touch
- Settled white, uneven opacity and banded coverage
- Loss of adhesion, flaking or cracking on the substrate
- Colour drift compared with the usual ICC profiles
An ECO-UV5 ink that is fresh and properly stored maintains jetting consistency, curing and adhesion, and protects the print heads. The 1 L refill bottle also reduces ink costs.
